Sr. Systems Administrator

II. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Exceptional customer service skills, organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-motivation and initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to learn new technology quickly
• Proven ability to consult with clients to maximize IT benefits
• Plans and coordinates system utilization, and performs growth analysis and capacity planning
• Provides installation, support, and maintenance of servers and other computer systems
• Efficiently manage configuration of desktops, servers and services (IIS, e-mail, AD, DNS, etc.)
• Assists with planning for and responding to service outages and other problems (SLA’s)
• Able to take on a leadership role in managing systems-related projects
• Must be able quickly and correctly diagnose problems with computer systems and introduce the best way to fix the problem
• Experience installing, configuring and managing IIS Web Server farm(s) using Load Balancers
• Experience installing routers, switches, firewalls, cabling, etc.

III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. (Required)

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Must have 4+ years plus experience as a mid to high-level Systems Administrator
Certifications including A+, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, CCNP, and Network+

TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE: (NOT LIMITED TO)

• VMware 4.0/4.1, (vSphere, View, vCenter)
• Windows Server 2003/2008
• Cisco (Preferred but not required)
• Backup Exec
• LAN/WAN Networks
• Security
• Storage (different technologies and disaster recovery)
• Performance Tuning
